Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!
Woohoo! I got the photos from the photoshoot back in early October back, and they are so pretty! Thanks and gratitude to the amazing photographer <3
And NOW, that means I can share CAKE PICTURES with you! Brace yourselves, we have four weeks’ worth of cakes here, and I’m making another two in that time, so that’s SIX WEEKS OF CAKES and that literally takes us through to Christmas, whoa o.O
So, most detailed cake first, because I feel like we all deserve the payoff here. I’m actually super glad I got the chance to do this cake, because the flowers were given to me under special circumstances, and this was a really nice was to finish enjoying them once some of the less robust members of the bouquet were wilting.
The cake was just a simple chocolate mud cake, with chocolate Vienna buttercream icing. Simple – but tasty and effective 🙂
And now, what have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
