Been a while since I’ve done a cake, but here we go! Another cement + yellow flowers cake because I had the cement-style icing in the freezer from the last one :’D This, let me tell you, is a DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS cake: it’s a GF chocolate mud (so soft, so tasty) with real strawberries and

It’s been a long time since I made words creatively, so to celebrate the fact that last weekend I added a few hundred words to a short story I’ve been picking away at for years, I thought I’d share the first half of that story here 🙂 Hope you enjoy it! Warm steam filled the

Shockingly enough, this week we are back to cakes! It’ll be cake next week too, as I’m running one behind for you at the moment 🙂 Anyway, this was a super quick one I made for my husband to take to work. As Liana helpfully pointed out, it does indeed look like I put a

Just a quick one today. Mr BoyChild had a Harry Potter day at school holiday care last week, which we were both super excited about (he got to make a wand and have broom races and everything). I was even *more* excited when the Gryffindor tie I’d ordered for him a month ago arrived *exactly*
