Made-it Monday: Warm-Up Sketches

Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!

Some warm-up sketches this week, getting back into the hang of colouring with my Copic markers before colouring the illustration for the All I Want For Christmas Is A Reaper Fan Kits. The illustration itself is nearly done as I preload this post last Thursday night (hi, time travellers!) – I just have her dress to go, and then whatever I’m going to do for a background. Maybe I’ll post the final illustration next week??

Anyway, this week, the warm-up sketches. One is the bunny from my daughter’s crockery but done in hypercolour, and one is… well, you can see what it is, it’s a free-form colour* of an Inklet cover.

* By which I mean, I didn’t do an undersketch first, I just applied colour to page freeform – in this case, a page of my diary, haha.

And now, what have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
