Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!
So I said I’d be mining Camporee for Made-It Mondays for a while, and here I am staying true to my promise 😀 😀 😀
A quick one today. This is a cardboard car prop I made for the drama. There were two milk crates pegged down behind it for the actors to stand on, and a little shelf rigged up so they could have their scripts there. One of them actually did the hard work of sticking all the boxes together to get the cardboard big enough; I just did the artwork on the front–which, btw, used a full permanent marker and took me nearly an hour o.O
The best part though was drilling holes in it to cable tie it to the star pickets (and to hold some of the flappier bits down); there’s something ridiculously satisfying about using a drill on a heavy cardboard box :’D
Unfortunately I don’t have any front-on shots; we were so on-the-go the whole week that I took barely any photos. But that’s okay, you get the general idea here, and the memories were totally worth it :3
And now, what have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
