Ermagersh, I couldn’t believe it when I found this video the other day: LXD are a dance troupe who’ve done a series of short films about dancers with superpowers (there are four seasons of it at present, and it’s directed by Jon M. Chu, who also directed Step Up 2 and Step Up 3D, movies I unashamedly *adore*) and they are AWESOME. Like, seriously, these guys are so pro it hurts. And the composer of the piece of music in the video below, Kerry Muzzey, is one of my favourite composers of all time too. The track that first made me fall in love, where Muzzey wrote a track setting the sounds that the Earth makes to music, (I should post that next week.) is just sheer glorious genius. So when I discovered that the two had been combined into three minutes of awesomeness on So You Think You Can Dance? (another fav show of mine, for the limited time we were able to get it here in Australia :\ #unimpressedfaces), I almost died of happiness đŸ˜€ Do yourself a favour: take three minutes out of your schedule, hit play, sit back, and enjoy the show.
Anyone else out there obsessed with dance shows? What good moves have I missed by not having access to all these amazing American dance shows? Leave a comment and let me know!!
