It’s Friday, and it’s the first of March, which means that a) it’s a Friday Favs kind of day, and b) I’m back to blogging again (at least for now, we all know how this goes :D). So! Expect mostly week-daily blogging again (you can sign up to get posts delivered straight to your inbox!), with a bunch of exciting updates on my books for 2024 (there will be four of them!!) – and in the meantime, let’s kick the month off with some gratitude!
Right now, I’m grateful for:
- My new water bottle, which a) is aesthetic, b) has a straw, which I didn’t think I’d be into but which is proving SO user-friendly, and c) has line markers for how much I’m supposed to drink during the day – I never stick to it, BUT they are still incredibly motivating and a Very Good Reminder To Actually Drink.
- Crystal the bunny, *hearty eyes*. If you can, pop over to Instagram and check out the highlight on my profile called Animals (or some such), and you can tap through a series of delightful cute-rabbit photos.
- My husband sent me flowers? Delivered to work? This is atypical and they are very pretty and I am grateful 🙂
- Randomly, my enamel pin collection, which is pretty and brings me joy.
- A veggie garden that basically grew itself over summer, providing bountiful tomatoes and edible leaves and a few pumpkins, woo
- Being able to work from home part of my weeks 🙂
- Writing mornings! I’m taking a half day of leave once a month to go write in a cafe for the morning, and doing the same thing one Sunday per month, and it is GLORIOUS. Completely takes the pressure off my weekly writing and means I am actually currently EXCEEDING my writing goals for the year – I think this is the first time this has EVER happened??
- The books I have coming out this year 🙂 Urgh they are just making me so happy <3 <3
Over to you! What’s been making you happy this past week or so? <3
