Phew, it’s been a bit of a rocky few weeks, but we made it. Well done us, go team.
(I’m okay, I just both got myself quite overtired with a few very booked weekends, AND realised that although I have improved my levels of burnout SIGNIFICANTLY since June, I am still actually highly burnt out and need to be gentle with myself around that.)
But hurrah! We made it to here, wherever ‘here’ may be, and we can celebrate with some Friday favs 🙂
Things I have been appreciating the last couple of weeks:
- Dirt to fill up the new veggie bed! (Hoping to get back to regular garden tours again soon.)
- Brandon Sanderson’s very random pod/vodcast with Dan Wells
- My Elegant Excellence Journal (always a fav but even more appreciated in hard weeks)
- Getting the Very Last Inklet (#100) up for preorder in both print and ebook <3
- While I *feel* like I’ve been Very Bad with my sugar cravings lately, in actual fact while the cravings have been regular, I’ve not *actually* been eating very much sugar at all? So I appreciate realising that (as is often the case), I’ve been harder on myself than necessary and I’m actually doing better than I thought.
- Relatedly, as ever, TEA, because it helps curb the sugar cravings. This week I’m loving Eggnog again, or anything other really creamy, milky flavours.
