It’s a sleepy kind of day today, overcast and threatening rain, and I’ve had a lot less than Optimal Sleep this week. I’m counting down quite keenly for the weekend… But also, I’m still really excited about Define Good and making progress on writing (although I didn’t do any yesterday since I was focusing on some edits I had due for a client in all my spare time, ha).
I’m not really sure what I have to say here today, this isn’t a particularly premeditated post at all, but I’ve promised to be here blogging on weekdays, so here I am. I’m staring over my desk at my priority to-do list for the week though and honestly I’ve made more progress than I thought.
Which, I guess, if there’s to be a sensible message today it’s that: I (and I suspect many of you) am really bad at recognising how much progress I’ve made, instead focusing on how much further I still have to go, and yet when I actually make time to stop and assess, I always seem to have made more progress than I’d thought.
I reckon that probably applies to you, too π
