Not much to add on the back of yesterday’s post, really. Moon Shot remains outlined, and I haven’t started the (re)writing of it yet. Bones Of The Sea is stalled, mostly because I’m still recovering from the intense 14 weeks of insomnia and trying to catch up with school work. I also have edits due soon that I need to move faster on, so you know.
Two weeks. In two weeks, we have a long weekend here, and I have scrawled all across in my diary in capital letters, NO. DO NOT SCHEDULE HERE.
So I’m looking forward to that weekend off, and then I think I will be back on track to start actually writing again. I should be up to date with school work again (or at least in the ballpark thereof) and so on and so forth. I should be done with Aurealis reading by then, too, which means I can contemplate actually reading a book for lols and funsies, rather than because I need to read it. Which isn’t to say that I haven’t enjoyed reading for the awards, just that it’s meant no time left over for my own personal reading (or even for catching up on school reading, if we’re honest >.<).
So yeah. Trucking along, gradually coming back to level again as my sleep improves, looking forward to getting back to writing in earnest in a couple of weeks’ time.
The insomnia has played havoc on my publishing schedule for this year, but hey, that’s one of the reason I run my own publishing company: so I can adjust according to Life Curveballs.
I’m still planning to get Stag Book out to you this year, but as for the specific timing and what else might be on the table, who knows. I do not.
If there’s something you’re particularly clamouring for, let me know. It might encourage me to bump it up in the schedule or some such 😀
What are you guys up to at the moment, now that ‘physically survive extreme cold snap’ has been (thankfully) removed from many people’s schedules?
