Garden Update Slightly Delayed But Patreon Is Back

Urgh. I tried to post the Feb garden update here, but due to Technical Issues(TM) this will be delayed until next week.

In the meantime, I spent an hour on a bibliography + page numbers today for a resource for work (super excited about this upcoming unit on food sustainability, woo!), which chewed up most of what free time I had. Which, fine, it needed to be done, but urgh. Many things UNdone.

This evening, though, I spent time loading some Patreon posts, double woo!! My Patreon has been basically inactive since I got sick in 2019, so it’s v. exciting to be able to confidently start it up again. I have all the March posts loaded, and the April/May posts planned, and enough content in the line up for at least the next 12 months, so we can all rest easy that this time, it will actually live to make a good go at it.

If you head to the page and see, right now it’s still on “pay per thing”, but on Sunday I’ll be switching that back to “pay per month”, and if you choose to you can pay your lil contribution per month and receive posts and whatnot from me in return. For a dollar, you get two poems. For $2, you get the two poems plus an “abandoned words” extract, i.e. a draft I worked on at some point that got abandoned, never to see the light of day. For $5, you get all that plus a short story, plus final ebook copies of all ebooks I publish in that month. Yay! Link again in case you’re interested.

I’m also trialling a new way of posting to Patreon this year. WordPress and Patreon have teamed up and there is a PLUGIN, which means I can post here to my blog and it will be sent out to patrons. It also means you’ll see some posts (once a week) on the blog that appear as locked, with a ‘join Patreon to unlock this post’ sign. Take it or leave it, it’s totally okay with me either way. I’ll still be (attempting to) post here week daily, so you won’t be missing any regularly scheduled content. La.

Okay. I need to fall into bed, I have a long day tomorrow with extra commitments both before and after school, urgh.

Loves! <3 A
