Made-It Monday: Art Stuff

Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!

Over the holidays, I took my markers away with me and had the chance to spend a rather idyllic week doing not much other than napping, swimming in the pool, writing and drawing. It was an amazing reset, and I’m terribly grateful for the ability to have that time away from my house, especially with so much of the world still in lockdown for the holidays.

So, the next couple of Made-It Mondays will be drawing stuff, consider yourself forewarned 😀

Today, the artwork for last December’s Kickstarter! Well, one of the artworks, because Kickstarter was for both Rush Job and Trust Issues 🙂 I’m super duper excited that all the goodies for the Trust Issues Fan Kit Mini have arrived much faster than anticipated, so I can actually start posting those out next week! (Also, if you want one, they are available here ;))

Anyway, today you get a sneaky peeky at the artwork that goes on the back of the letter-from-the-author in the Rush Job Fan Kit Mini.

One day, I might figure out a way to list the art for sale as stand-alone prints, but I need to either figure out how to get our old giclee printer functional again, or find a place that can do giclee prints for me locally. It’s on the to-do list, but a fair way down it 😉

So! Today! Artwork! This is Jamie, the protagonist of Rush Job 🙂 Hurrah. This is the unedited version, because I did some special effects digitally to make it look more sci-fi-ish and so forth and to tidy up the edges 🙂

And now, what have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
