Yay! So exciting. Inkprint Press’s next Kickstarter is live! The plan is to run these approximately every two month, alternating authors (so there should be three Fan Kit boxes from me per year).
This time, I’m hoping to create Fan Kit boxes for J.C. Nelson’s amazing sweet Hollywood romance, Stand-In Hearts!
The Fox Book boxes are going REALLY well – I’m packing them this week and then just waiting on the snack to tuck in when they arrive in 2 weeks (I had to change suppliers due to covid, but the new snacks are better quality anyway, and we had a few weeks of wriggle room in the timeline, so I’m happy). Head to my Instagram stories if you want sneak peeks throughout the week 😀
But! Back to the current box. Stand-In Hearts is an amazing contemporary romance told from the man’s POV, set in contemporary Hollywood. You guys. I learned SO much about movie-making while reading this! J.C. really knows the industry, and it shows in all the gorgeous little insider details. (You can read the blurb down below.)
Plus, we are making a brand-new version of the cover specially for this campaign. Check it out:
There will be a limited number of Fan Kits available for sale later on the Inkprint Press website, but you get a whole bunch of bonus goodies if you order through the Kickstarter campaign. The campaign ends on July 30, so if you have a chance, head on over and check it out!
STAND-IN HEARTS
In Hollywood, survival depends on sifting the real from the fake. In Will Mathis’s opinion that’s easy. Fake. All fake. Just like his con-woman ex, Tamara.
But working as a set carpenter pays the bills, so, begrudgingly, he ventures on set to solve a staircase problem for the director. Turns out the director needs more than a set carpenter, though. The lead male stand-in just got fired—and Will fits the part.
He can overcome his stage fright and get paid to stand around while they adjust lighting, right?
…Probably. But with a heart still burned by his ex’s treachery, can he do it while facing off with the leading lady’s beautiful body double?
A sweet, stand-alone Hollywood romance that proves: love never sticks to the script.
Head over and take a look at the campaign now! 🙂
