Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!
I’ll be honest, the only thing I’ve made in the last week is edits to books, words for books, school resources, decisions, and memories. I’d share the memories with you, but they’re on my husband’s phone because mine keeps either a) complaining it’s too full for more photos or b) corrupting the photos I do take or b) both.
So. Today we are cheating. Because on Friday last week, Inklet #21 came out, and I haven’t done a release post for it yet, and technically I did create it, just not recently O:)
The bad: Fed up with James trying to run her life, Ella hangs up on her boyfriend at the bus stop.
The worse: Having to share the bus ride home with middle-aged drifters.
But the worst of all? The skinny, shell of a man in the business suit next to her starting to cry. Can people not just keep their problems to themselves for once?
A coming-of-age story that reminds us not to judge others before we know them.
So there. A Thing I Made. You can grab your copy now in print and ebook…
And hey, why not have a few of my memories here to round out the post. This is my trip to Queensland two weeks ago (as distinct from the trip to Queensland last week >.<), all the way up to Yeppoon, which is on the coast near Rockhampton. Furthermost north I’ve ever been in Australia <3
And now, what have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
