Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!
Just a quick one today. Mr BoyChild had a Harry Potter day at school holiday care last week, which we were both super excited about (he got to make a wand and have broom races and everything). I was even *more* excited when the Gryffindor tie I’d ordered for him a month ago arrived *exactly* on time!
He was after authenticity, so wanted a blond Gryffindor student to go as, and we realised Colin Creevey fits that bill – so my Made-It Monday this week is a camera I made to complete his costume that I made out of an old, black shoebox, some foil, some tape, and an old ribbon I had lying around. It took maybe 15 minutes and it’s definitely Play School level of craft, not Mister Maker, but hey! I made a Thing! And it was actually super fun!

…I have no idea why the image is coming out sideways, and maybe it will right itself on your screen, but anyway, there it is. You can’t tell in the pic, but I even made a ‘bulb’ in the flash out of a wad of cellotape B-)
Hurrah!
And now, what have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
