Hey guys,
A quick health update. June was pretty gross, and the depression, anxiety and sleeplessness/exhaustion were making everything pretty hard. However, the good news is, I had the gastroscopy Tuesday last week, and was able to immediately go gluten-free again after that.
It’s been what, nine, ten days? and things are starting to finally improve now. I mean, I spent three months deliberately poisoning my body to see how hard it would crash (literally, oy), so I have to figure it’s going to take a while to regain full health and sanity. Patience, grasshopper.
But yeah, things are definitely getting better. I’m getting good sleep about one in three nights (which is SO much better than none!), and I’m at least on holidays so I can have afternoon naps and/or sleep in as required. Not a lot getting done around the house, but hey, recuperation is a Thing, right?
Yesterday was also a pretty big deal: I wrote new words.
Guys. I wrote new words. I haven’t written new words since April. *deep breath of relief*
It’s been so long that I was honestly scared that maybe writing just wasn’t a thing I could do any more. Obviously, that was the depression and anxiety talking, but perspective is a challenging thing, right?
So yeah. Yay words 🙂
The blog might even resume weekday posts next week – we’ll see how we go :3 <3
