Made-It Monday: Silk

Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome! 🙂

The Emotion Thesaurus ladies sent out a newsletter last week that concluded with some random links to fun and/or useful and/or interesting thing around the webs that they’d found of late. One of the links was to weavesilk.com, a semi-automated drawing site. Basically, you wriggle your cursor over the screen, and the algorithms make the pretty.

It’s kind of addictive, tbh, especially when you start saving your pics… 😀

The program rewards you with more colours as you go along, until you get the full complement of 7, plus you can play around with the axes of the symmetry.

It’s a fun way to kill a bit of time and having something super pretty to show for it 😀

What have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
